I imagine there are plenty of us passionate about chocolate and perhaps none more so than Stephen Conway, founder of Pure Heavenly chocolate, who shares his journey with us in today’s micro business of the day feature.

His products are incredible... taking something we all love (chocolate) and making it better for us. Low sugar, vegan, GMO free, gluten free and much more planet friendly are amongst the factors making Pure Heavenly stand out from anything else on the chocolate market. We talked to founder, Stephen Conway, about the journey so far.
In a nutshell, what do you do?
Outrageously delicious dairy free chocolate made with rice cream and only 2% sugar.
Who’s involved in the business?
It’s just me!
What makes you different from competitors?
Taste! That and the fact our chocolate is very low sugar as well as dairy free. It’s all soy free, palm oil free and gluten free too.
What inspired you to start this sort of business?
My wife and kids have food intolerances and my wife has arthritis which she has practically cured through food.
2020! What a year! How has it affected you?
We have seen sales grow by 300% so we are very lucky!
What do you love the most about running your business?
We have a very interesting and diverse set of customers who are are fab-u-lous. Creating a new brand and new products is such fun!
And what has been the biggest challenge?
Financially we have nearly gone to the wall multiple times.
Can you share one piece of advice for other aspiring entrepreneurs?
Use video and social media to build your audience as quickly as possible
